Macclesfield College has welcomed the findings from its recent Ofsted inspection, which recognised strengths in student achievement, inclusion, employer engagement and safeguarding.
Inspectors highlighted, among other things, the college's contribution to meeting local and regional skills needs, recognising its extensive partnerships with employers and stakeholders.
The report noted that employer engagement is embedded across many curriculum areas, helping students and apprentices develop highly industry-relevant knowledge and skills.
The inspection also acknowledged the sustained improvements made since the previous inspection, particularly in learner and apprentice achievement and the quality of teaching experienced by learners.
Rachel Kay, principal and CEO of Macclesfield College, said: "We are pleased that the inspection recognises many of the strengths that define Macclesfield College, including our commitment to inclusion, our effective employer partnerships, our focus on developing skills that meet local and regional needs, and the positive outcomes achieved by our learners and apprentices.
"The report also identifies areas where we can improve further, particularly attendance and aspects of personal development provision.
"We welcome this feedback and are already implementing actions to address these priorities.
"Continuous improvement is central to our culture, and we remain committed to ensuring every learner has the opportunity to succeed and thrive."

Student outcomes were identified as a key strength throughout the report. Inspectors found that students achieve well, make positive progress from their starting points and routinely produce work of a high standard.
They also praised the opportunities available beyond the classroom, including employer-led projects, careers events, skills competitions and enrichment activities.
Students reported feeling safe, respected and well supported, with inspectors recognising the college's positive safeguarding culture and the extensive wellbeing, counselling and specialist support available to help students succeed.
The inspection also recognised the college's inclusive culture, with leaders and governors praised for creating a supportive environment focused on student achievement.
