A Spaniard filmed a woman showering through an open window.

Daniel Cabello, from Barcelona, has had his phone taken away after admitting to one charge of voyeurism.

On August 22 last year, the 26-year-old put his iPhone through an open window of a property in Macclesfield.

He then filmed a woman while she was showering at her home.

Cabello appeared at Crewe Magistrates Court on Thursday, January 9, where he indicated a guilty plea to one charge of voyeurism.

He was subsequently handed a 14-week prison sentence.

However, this has been suspended for 12 months as Cabello is due to return to Spain, where he will undertake rehabilitation activities with the support of his family.

A deprivation order was made by the court, with Cabello's iPhone seized by police.

He will also have to pay £500 in compensation along with costs of £85 and a £154 surcharge.
