Three upcoming protests outside Macclesfield Town Hall this July
Campaigners for different causes will descend outside Macclesfield Town Hall this month, to make their voices heard.
And two of which, are happening on the same day.
Protestors will gather outside Macclesfield Town Hall at 10.00 am this Thursday, when Cheshire East Council's next Environment and Communities Committee is set to take place.
People will gather to protest against the reduction of services at Bollington household waste recycling centre, which has just days left of operation in its current form.
Furthermore, Bollingtonians will also take to the pickets at the same time to protest the reduction of services at Bollington Library.
A new tiered system which will see services reduced at Bollington Library is to be discussed at the meeting.
It follows a protest outside Bollington Library on July 6.
But it is not just Cheshire East Council that the people of Macclesfield is set to protest against.
On Wednesday July 24, a peaceful vigil for Palestine will take place.
A Palestinian solidarity event will take place on Market Place from 12:30pm to 2pm.
Organisers told Nub News that event will show 'Palestinian brothers and sisters that we haven't forgotten them,' and 'to educate the people of Macclesfield about what's going on'.
'Boycott Israeli Apartheid' stickers will also be handed out.
