A village school has crowned its May King and Queen.
Hollinhey Primary School played host to Sutton Mayfest earlier this month, with festivalgoers enjoying a day full of live music, BBQ food, inflatables, activities and more.
The event also saw year three pupils Henry Sherratt and Faye Lawton named the May King and Queen.
They looked every bit the part, arriving in a convertible Bentley with their nine attendants following behind in Range Rovers
The royal party and their grandparents were then treated to an afternoon tea, before the children showed off their country dancing skills.
Henry's mother, Melissa Sherratt, said: "The afternoon perfectly captured the warmth, fun and community spirit that make Hollinhey's May Day such a treasured tradition each year.
"For the children involved, it was undoubtedly a day full of magical memories that will stay with them for a very long time.
"Faces beamed, shoes skipped across the grass and laughter filled the air as the children threw themselves into the traditional celebrations."
