A Bollington textile manufacturer has entered administration.

Richard Cole and Steve Kenny of KBL Advisory have been appointed as joint administrators of R.A. Smart (Holdings) Limited.

With that, the company's base at Clough Bank on Grimshaw Lane has appeared for sale on the property website, Rightmove.

A notice shared on the R.A. Smart website reads: "The affairs, business and property of R.A. Smart (Holdings) Limited are managed by the joint administrators who act as agents of the company and without personal liability.

"The joint administrators are licensed in the United Kingdom to act as insolvency practitioners by the Insolvency Practitioners Association."
