What is on at the Treacle Market this weekend
It is the Treacle Market this weekend.
Expect autumnal vibes, Halloween-themed stalls, and an early chance to do your Christmas shopping.
The artisan market, turning 15 years old next year, will take place on October 26, 10am to 3:30pm.
Expect all your favourite stalls there, plus a few new ones.
Rafitti, the repurposed graffiti gift shop, that made their Treacle Market debut earlier this year are back.
I am Thai are back on Castle Street, after a trip to Thailand.
The shroomtastic stall Derbyshire Mushrooms are back, and will be outside the Visitor Information Centre.
Keep an eye out for the pumpkin trail across Treacle Market stalls, which is great family fun.
Performances will be from Sylk Dance Academy, who are currently fundraising for a new studio.
Annie's Saints and Sinners, Dos Equis and a debutant acoustic guitarist are also performing.
There's free art outside St. Michael's Church, Macclesfield Art Group will be collecting cash in aid of the charities Windyway Trust and the garden at the ward 9 dementia unit at Macclesfield Hospital. It is an appropriate place for the fundraiser, given the fact all the Treacle charity stalls are in the St. Michael's Churchyard.
The mobile bar this month will be Tommy's.
The Treacle Market said: "There's always lots of autumnal and Halloween inspired finds at the October Treacle, whether it's creepy cute pins or scarily spicy food, there's lots to discover and plenty to keep you in spooky spirits ahead of Halloween!"
The Treacle Market is on from 10am to 3:30pm, this Sunday.
