As September ends and October begins, we have one great big autumnal weekend to look forward to.

Park Run

A run through South Park will take place in Macclesfield this weekend.

Macclesfield 5K Your Way, which is also a support group for those affected by cancer, will take place on Saturday morning.

Turn up for 8:45am. After, participants will have cakes and coffee at The Park Tavern on Park Lane.

Grease

The 1970s classic Grease concludes with two final shows at MADS this weekend.

Doors 7:30pm on both Friday and Saturday. There is also a matinee performance on Saturday at 2:00pm.

Mill Street Fundraiser

The independent business on Mill Street will raise money for the Millbank Drive good cause.

Crafty Corner will host charity coffee morning for local good cause.

The wool and haberdashery hub will  holding a coffee morning as part of a national "yarnstravaganza" event. 

All proceeds will be donated to Macclesfield's East Cheshire Hospice. 

Turn up from 10:30am to 1pm.

Live Music, Local Beer and Lovely Pizza

Elmo Ashall - Kelly will provide your Sunday afternoon soundtrack at Happy Valley Brewery on 73 Oxford Road.

It will be his first performance at the pizza and beer-making venue for a year.
