Now without further ado, here's the best free and paid events going on in Macclesfield this weekend.

Charity Countryside Event

The Windyway Trust Logo.

This Saturday, Windyway Trust are holding their Carol Service and memory tree service at the Teggs Nose Cafe/Ranger Station.

From 6.00pm - 7.00pm. Mince pies and refreshments.

Memory cards are available in our shops on Chestergate from December 1st.

Come and support a local charity in beautiful scenery.

Live Music

Chichester Psalms plus Holst, Barber and Finzi will be performed on Saturday.

A concert of British and American music given by Macclesfield Singers and Macclesfield Symphony Orchestra. The programme consists of Leonard Bernstein's Chichester Psalms, Gustav Holst's Winter Idyll, Samuel Barber's Symphony No. 1, Gustav Holst's Somerset Rhapsody Op. 21 and Gerald Finzi's Lo, the Full, Final Sacrifice.

The concert will be conducted by Anthony Houghton, for the orchestra only parts, and Mark McCombs for the 2 pieces featuring Macclesfield Singers who are joined by the Oriel Singers.

Tickets are £15 for adults and free for under 18s and are available from Macclesfield Visitor Information Centre, Margin Music and online at this link.

Charity Concert

Macclesfield Mayor's fundraising visually-impaired pool duo tournament is on this weekend.

On this Sunday at Silktown Snooker Club, is a charity competition.

The event will raise funds for East Cheshire Eye Society and the East Cheshire Hospice, a pool competition for visually impaired people paired with fully sighted people (though wearing spectacles that simulate various sight loss conditions!).

Both are the chosen charities of Macclesfield Mayor Chris Wilcock, who will be hosting the vent.

Salon Saturday

Quirkydo of Broken Cross.

Quirkydo of 181 Broken Cross are hosting their first ever keratin treatment showcase.

Keratin is a protein which is made in the human body. It helps keep your skin, nails and hair in tip-top condition.

And Quirkydo will be hosting an event this Saturday to bring vibrancy back to your hair, with keratin treatment.
