This weekend in Macclesfield, there's a Macc-nificent line-up of events is scheduled that are guaranteed to ensure a wondrous weekend for all in Macc.

So let's discover what Macclesfield has to offer this week.

Friday Concert

Donations can also be made towards a Macclesfield charity.

Starting of your weekend, St. Michael's Church has orchestrated a free lunchtime concert. In fact, they happen very Friday afternoon.

Local organist Neil Taylor will be performing from 1.15pm.

This event will quench your thirst for a riveting concert, as well as raising funds for good causes in Macclesfield.

Whilst it is free to attend, donations are encouraged towards East Cheshire Hospice and St. Michaels.

Additionally, if concerts aren't your style you can enjoy a nice cup of tea at The Angel At My Table coffee shop, which is open for the event and offers a wide range of bakery goods.

In Beer

Also raising funds for charity is the 11th Bollington Beer Festival, on this Friday evening and Saturday.

Tickets for entry is £8.50, plus you pay for tokens as you go along.

In Sutton

At the local pub The Church House acoustic act "The Doggetts" is performing.

These are two sisters will perform an energetic set at 6 o'clock on Saturday.

The pub recently gained new publicans.

Beauty and the Beast

A new show has arisen depicting the classic Beauty and the Beast.

This event is brought to you by Macclesfield's CYGNETS a vibrant not-for-profit group promising high production and professional standards on the grounds of The King's School.

Previous events from CYGNETS are highlighted as "huge successes" consisting of Matilda the Musical and Shrek Jr so the event a a high likelihood to be great
