What are you up to this weekend Macclesfield?

  1. Live Rock

We spoke with young Macclesfield rockers The Perps last month, and how their latest single is inspired by the ongoing criminal saga involving Jeffrey Epstein.

In that article, they mentioned they loved to play Mash. And they'll do so this weekend.

Local Psychedelic act Suave Martyrs will also be playing this Friday's gig, which starts at 10pm.

You can watch The Perps' last performance at Mash here.

  1. Yoga

A monthly yoga group which meet on the closest weekend to a full moon are gathering in Bollington this weekend.

The female-frequented Full Moon Circle group of 104 Palmerston Street, invites you for a two hour session of cacao, cleansing and connection.

Madison Yoga, instructor of 15 years, will be your guide.

Head here to find more about the Sunday morning event.

  1. Licorice Pizza

Crtically-acclaimed love story Licorice Pizza comes to Macclesfield for the first time on Friday.

The Paul Thomas Anderson film is on at Roe Street venue Cinemac at 5pm.

  1. Virtual Art Class

If you are still keeping caution with the Omicron variant still going about, a Macclesfield artist has you covered.

Michelle Shore Illustration will be teaching you how to draw plants with coloured inks.
