It is the final weekend of November. What are you up to Macclesfield?

Here are four of the best events happening in Macclesfield this weekend.

And DON'T FORGET you can promote your Macc event for FREE on the Macclesfield Nub News What's On section.

  1. Treacle Market

It is the second-to-last Treacle Market of the year. And the Christmas festivities have begun.

As well a Christmas-themed performance from a festive fire, they'll be a slew of new stalls, some with a festive twist.

It kicks off at 10am, and while the stalls will shut by 4pm, the Treacle spirit will continue well into the night with our town's restaurants and bars.

Tomorrow, we'll reveal more of what is new at this Sunday's Treacle Market.

  1. Scoop and Scales Market

The Craft Market at Roe Street plastic-free shop Scoop and Scales will be hosting a two-day event of independent stalls.

From 10-4 on Saturday, and 10-2 on Treacle Sunday, they'll be unique independent stalls for all things Macc. Scoop and Scales will be open at these times as well.

Matthew Todd, Co-Chair and Shop Manager and Scoop and Scales said: "The fair has got a little bit of everything. A full range of arts and crafts ready for Christmas.

"It is important for Scoop and Scales to support small local traders as it is coming to that time of year where we our nation spends billions.

"But the more we can retain in the local economy the better. The local traders market has had a tough time with the closure of a couple of shops, we we really wanted to have a showcase of what they can do and the creativity they can bring.

"And just to remind people we've got so many really talented people and you should shop with them. Thank you."

  1. Space4Autism Market

The third and final market for the weekend (are you surprised, we were voted this week as one of Britain's happiest market towns this week) is by a beloved Macclesfield charity.

The good cause which benefits children with autism and their families is hosting a Christmas market this Sunday.

For five hours, the Mill Lane charity will be hosting a festive bazaar, welcome to all, but particularly benefitting kids with autism.

They are still accepting gifts and prizes to be donated to their tombola.

  1. Wellbeing Music Evening

Feeling stressed in the run-up to Christmas? This event could help take your mind of things...

Silk House Therapy & Wellbeing, of 45 Pickford Street, are hosting an evening of calm music and promoting good wellbeing.

There will be live performance of world music to help soothe and ease your tensions, on Saturday from 6:30pm-7:30pm.

It is free entry, but limited spaces. Book here.

And that is it! Did we miss anything?
