Here's what we can look forward to over the next few days...

For the Kids

Abbey Road venue Packhorse Bowling And Social Club will be hosting a family friendly festival of fun this weekend.

Neonino is a neon and UV indoor festival with live DJ's and fun for all the family. It is organised by locals.

Friday Night Music

An all-girls evening of national talent will perform at Mash Guru on 5 Back Wallgate on Friday.

This first 'Grrls Like Us' live show at MASH brings you a double header of indie acts for just £3.

Soot Sprite are a headlining, being a three-piece shoegaze outfit from Exeter. Their latest record Poltergeists was acclaimed by NME, Clash magazine and Brooklyn Vegan.

Described as "if Gwen Stefani and 90s Greenday had a baby", Okay, Bye are pastel-punks from the South West, coming to Macclesfield for the first time.

They will perform catchy pop hooks into a grungy backdrop, at Macclesfield's Mash Guru on Friday evening.

With tracks pierced with fierce feminist energy, and airplay on BBC Radio 6 Music, these bands are not to be missed.

This will be a late show with the first band on around 10pm. If you're keen to grab a ticket in advance, you can get one from We Got Tickets (https://www.wegottickets.com/event/552774), otherwise just pop down on the night.

Listen to their music here, here, and find out more info here.

Cinemac

Another two-in-one event, there's a comedy and music night at Cinemac on Roe Street this Friday.

"We're hosting a COMEDY special featuring the UK's best Peter Kay Tribute Act," said Jordan Wilson of Cinemac.

"Supporting Peter Kay tribute Simon Marks is Janie & The 80's, the ultimate tribute to the 80's!

"Come and sing and laugh the night away with us! Tickets start at just £5 each. The event starts at 7:45pm."

Rewind Festival

With three days of entertainment, and more love for the 80s, Rewind Festival will take place at Capesthorne Hall this weekend.

Highlights include Jason Donovan - fresh from the Neighbours finale - The Human League and Holly Johnson.
