Here's four events you can go to in Macclesfield this weekend.

Sutton Hall Reopening

The end of a thirteen-year restoration will conclude with the grand reopening of Sutton Hall this weekend.

While the Sutton Lane Ends venue has been open as recently as this autumn, the finishing touches to bringing the pub back to their former glory have been completed behind closed doors.

Sutton Hall will reopen at 10:30am on Saturday October 22.

Park Market

Discover what your community has to offer and stop by on Saturday 22nd October to check out the latest Pop Up Market in Victoria Park, Macclesfield!

Featuring a variety of stalls from a selection of wonderful local artists, crafters and sellers, with a range of family friendly activities including a bouncy castle, face painting and tombola.

Join us for this fantastic community fundraising event hosted by Pearls of Cheshire, a charitable organization specializing in helping empower woman and children in our local community, and have a great day out giving back!

So stop by and appreciate all the wonderful makers, creators and entrepreneurs of Macclesfield along with the changing seasons of our beautiful parks.

Guitar and Pizza

A nice family day out on Sunday by soaking in the vibes of an cosy Macclesfield venue.

Local musician Charlotte Day and will be performing at the old Oxford pub on Sunday 23rd October.

Now called Happy Valley Tap and Pizza Pub, you can drink beer made on-site and pizza also made just metres from your table.

It is a free event for the music, 3-6pm. Pizza and beer are paid, but affordable.

Skanking Saturday

One of the community pubs opposite Macclesfield Railway Station, The Nags Head will be hosting their second ska night of the year.

The Waters Green pub will welcome Stockport ska band Special Brew, named after the Bad Manners song, which in-turn was named after the infamously strong Carlsberg Beer.

Free music, just bring your best dancing shoes. Saturday 9pm.
