Here's four things you can get up to in Macclesfield over the next few days...
Curtain Call
The final shows of The Revlon Girl will take place at MADS Theatre this weekend.
The synopsis reads: "Welcome to the world of Revlon: where every woman deserves to look and feel beautiful."
"In the months following the heart-breaking 1966 Aberfan disaster in which 116 children and 28 adults tragically lost their lives, a group of bereaved mothers meet every week to talk, cry and even laugh together in attempt to rebuild their shattered lives. When one of them admits to feeling they've let themselves go and wanting to feel human again, they arrange for a Revlon rep to give them a talk. Afraid that people will think them frivolous they decide to hold the session in secret. Based on a true story, this is an unforgettable new play full of compassion, sorrow and laughter."

Run Anniversary
One year ago this week, a morning run to support those affected by cancer began in Macclesfield.
The South Park event will also be supporting the ongoing "Paint Macc Pink" movement, so you may wish to wear pink instead for this edition of the monthly event.
There will be homemade cakes and coffee at the Park Tavern afterwards.
Turn up at 8:45am.
Charity Concert
This week's lunchtime concert at St.Michael's in the Market Place, Macclesfield is on Saturday 29th April 1.15 – 2pm. The renowned pianist Hyuk Namkoong from Sheffield will be performing J.S.Bach's Goldberg Variations.
Hyuk is originally from South Korea and is a graduate of the Royal College of Music.
Entry is free but donations to the East Cheshire Hospice and St.Michael's will be welcomed. The Angel At My Table café will be open for refreshments and hot meals.

More Live Music
And you can keep the live performances going on Saturday at Mash Guru on 5 Back Wallgate, with some indie music goodness at an affordable price
London-based "dreamy grunge pop" band Gold Baby are stopping off in Macclesfield.
Gold Baby are a 'dreamy grunge-pop' band led by vocalist and songwriter Sian Alex.
Gold Baby play heartfelt indie rock for fans of Boygenius (and Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus, and Julien Baker solo stuff too - of course!), Big Thief and 4AD Records.

And side from the four above events, of course there is the Treacle Market, but we'll be preparing a separate article about that.
