Charity Fundraiser

The Mayor of Macclesfield is hosting a charity fundraiser this weekend.

Mayor Chris Wilcock will be raising funds for Macclesfield charities East Cheshire Hospice and East Cheshire Eye Society on Saturday.

This will be in the form of a charity bingo evening on Saturday September 2.

Entry fee from £3. Head to the Pack Horse Bowling and Social Club on Abbey Road from 7pm to get involved.

Another Fundraiser Night Out

SURGE - Drum & Bass Night #Money4Mylo

Also on Saturday night, there is a fundraiser for a Macclesfield dog with cancer.

No. 8 Dukes in Dukes Court are promoting a crowdfunder for poorly dog Mylo, with a packed line-up of DJs.

£1300 is wanted to be raised for the sick pet, with £705 being raised so far.

A Rawr-some Day Out

West Park in Macclesfield.

Dinosaurs are taking over West Park this weekend.

From 12:30-6:30pm on both Saturday and Sunday, DINO FUN WORLD will invade with 'an unforgettable day of prehistoric fun'.

From puppet shows, dino trails and other activities, this is affordable family fun on your doorstep that is not to be missed.

Rock Gig

Macclesfield rock band Between Thorns are doing their last gig for a while, as the band members head to university.

The band are still together, but this gig will have a special feel to it.

Head to The Swan with Two Necks on Chestergate at 8pm on Sunday to watch.
