On Friday Night

Start your weekend off in the unique setting of the King Edward Street Chapel.

The central Macclesfield venue, located behind the ginnel next to Naga Spa, will welcome what they call 'sacred' music live in the Chapel.

The Bhakti Brothers will be performing cultural music. Singalong welcome.

Local Music

A Bollington musician will be performing a show in her hometown.

It is a homecoming show for Bollington musician Megan Dixon Hood. 

Fresh off the release of her debut album East of the Sunthe Bollingtonian will be performing at Bollington Civic Hall this Saturday.

Doors 7pm, with an all-female line-up. 

The tickets are in support of the Bollington Festival and will raise awareness around the festival, which is now going ahead in May 2026. The first festival began in 1964 and it runs roughly every 4 years.

Folk Music

Also in live music, there is a folk gig in Mottram St Andrew

Phil Beer is one half of folk supergroup Show Of Hands and is in much demand as a multi-instrumentalist and producer.

The artist, who has almost 50,000 streams on Spotify, can play fiddle and guitar.

£16 per ticket, Mottram St Andrew Village Hall, Saturday 8pm. Tickets HERE.

Fundraiser

Tickets are £15 per person.

Get together for a good cause this Saturday, as an Indian-twinged evening will raise funds for a Macclesfield charity.

Space4Autism will benefit from this Saturday's curry night, at their Mill Lane premises.

And beyond the cuisine, there's even a bit of Japanese culture as there will be karaoke on a after the meal as well.
