A pizzeria has opened on the west side of Chestergate.

Wood Fire Smoke, located on the Motorworks opposite Jins Oriental Restaurant, opened their doors on Monday.

All of their pizza doughs are vegan, authentic and have 'real crusts'.

They have ten pizzas, four salads, dough balls and fries.

There's also fresh garlic bread, olives and a small selection of desserts.

It is the third restaurant of the small business to open in Cheshire, with the business already having sites in Wilmslow and Handforth.

There are 35 table seats, including six benches.

There's also six seats you can sit at with a direct view of the brand new pizza oven.

The open kitchen leads to a warm and vibrant atmosphere in the restaurant.

The new eatery will push their delivery, claiming to be the only wood-fired takeaway pizza on the big three delivery apps in Macclesfield.

They have also emphasised their crusts, by offering four dips to go with their thick Neopolitan crusts, meaning there will be next-to-no food waste.

Pizzas start from £8.50.

They are open from 12pm to 10pm daily, and a little longer on Fridays and Saturdays.

Eight people will work at the new Italian-inspired site, including Macclesfield residents from Naples.

They've teamed up with Macclesfield's Arighi Bianchi for this competition.
