The Co-op in Macclesfield has thanked the Macclesfield community for donating hundreds of Easter eggs to good causes.
Colleagues at the food retailer and customers bought chocolate eggs to be given to a trio of Macclesfield local causes - East Cheshire Hospice, Macclesfield Hospital and The Christie Macclesfield.
Staff at those organisations and patients will share the Easter treats, which will put a smile on the faces of key workers or those going through a tough time.
A Macclesfield Nub News appeal helped increase the numbers, of which the total has just been calculated.
Co-op Member Pioneer Louise Little said: "Thank you to everyone who donated to the Macclesfield Easter egg drive.
"Across our nine stores, the community donated 300 Easter eggs, meaning each of the three worthy causes will get 100 each."
