The Co-op in Macclesfield has donated hundreds of pounds to a Macclesfield charity.
Volunteers and participants at Macclesfield Seals Swimming Club received a £450 cheque presented at the Co-op on West Park Drive.
Macclesfield Seals Swimming Club was founded in 1957. The group is for anyone with a disability of any kind.
The club can have up to 50 members in Macclesfield Leisure Centre pool on Friday evenings, from 7:30pm.
"This generous donation from the Co-op will make such a difference to us," said Jackie, Chairperson for Macclesfield Seals.
"It will be put to great use in helping towards our insurance and supporting future AGM meetings and social events."
The swimming sessions are free, and cater for people with any disabilities, their carers and relatives.
The club has a strong support base of volunteers, including youngsters on the Duke of Edinburgh Scheme. Their patron is the local Olympian, Dame Sarah Storey.
