There will be another comedy night on Priory Lane in November after the success of the show on October 8.

After the success of Macclesfield Comedy Festival during the summer, and now October's raved about comedy night launch at Macclesfield Rugby Club, Nodding Dog Comedy are bringing another special show to the sports club next month.

Standup Macclesfield on Friday 12th November will welcome a full line up of professional comedians, including a genuine comedy circuit legend and multi award winner in Canadian Tony Law.

A three-time Chortle Award winner, Tony Law has been described as a 'Surreal Genius' by The Telegraph and 'Impeccable' by The Times. His extensive TV and radio credits include Have I Got News For You, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, 8 Out Of 10 Cats, Russell Howards Good News and Infinite Monkey Cage.

Widely regarded as one of the best comedians of his generation Tony Law has sold out shows and festivals around the world gaining a cult following for his beautiful yet chaotic brand of stand up.

Support on the evening is equally as impressive with Stockport comedian Mike Newall. Who will make the short trip to Macc in November.

A charming and laid-back comedian with well-crafted jokes and a wonderful dry delivery, this is observational comedy at its best with razor sharp timing combined with a keen sense of dark sarcasm. He most recently appeared on Britain's Got Talent where he impressed the judges receiving 4 'Yes' votes. He is described by The Scotsman as "Perfectly crafted … Pin sharp, his control is deft and his hair is immaculate."

This month's 'one to watch' spot is taken by Tegan Marlow. From London and now living in Manchester, Tegan has a conversational and anecdotal style that explores topics from motorway services to relationships.

The whole night is MC'd and hosted by another cult superstar in Jonathan Mayor, who is the tour support and warm up choice for Sarah Millican.

The local audience will be familiar with Jonathan from him presenting the Macclesfield Comedy Festival earlier this summer. Wickedly hilarious, Johnathan is the perfect foil for a top night of Macc laughter.

With such a strong line up tickets are already selling well and advice from the organisers is to buy now to avoid missing out.

Tickets cost just £15, and can be bought here.
