A popular ABBA tribute night will return to Macclesfield, following the release of the real ABBA's new album.

ABBA Revival, the UK's number one ABBA tribute act, will perform in Macclesfield on Friday December 17.

They will play Cinemac Cinema on Roe Street for the second time this year, after knocking Macc's collective socks off on July 30.

Jordan Wilson of Cinemac said: "We're incredibly excited to be able to book ABBA Revival again, following their previous gig in the summer."

"We hope to bring a more live acts in like Revival on a bi-monthly basis in 2022."

Doors for the Saturday December 17 gig open at 8pm.

The Macclesfield cinema-come-venue has disabled access.

While the luxury sofas provided by Macclesfield furniture company are sold out for this gig, as is the Upper Tier Balcony, there are still many tickets available.

Restricted view is from £12, and the best seats left are from £15.

But be quick - as with the show returning by popular demand and the close proximity to Christmas - this will be guaranteed to be a sell-out.

The show will last for 145 minutes.

It is not yet known if ABBA Revival will perform songs from ABBA's upcoming ninth album ABBA Revival, such as Don't Shut Me Down and I Still Have Faith In You.

Macclesfield Nub News has contacted ABBA Revival for comment.
