Adult male charged following stop check in Macclesfield

A man has been charged following a stop check on Waller Street, Macclesfield on 3 September.

Tom Cole, 36, of no fixed address, was arrested and was subsequently charged with possession of a bladed article and resisting arrest.

He was remanded into custody and appeared at Chester Magistrates' Court on Monday 5 September where he was further remanded to appear at Crewe Magistrates' Court on 26 September.
