A caravan and glamping site near Macclesfield has been named one of the region's best.

Welltrough Hall Farm has been named runner up for 'Best Adult Only Site in the North West' at the 2025 Camping and Glamping Awards.

Based on a working farm, the site was praised for its 'stunning' countryside views and 'cosy' glamping accommodation with hot tubs.

Owner Nick Wilkinson said: "I'm delighted!

"It makes all the hard work over the years worthwhile, I'm very proud.

"My aim is to ensure all my guests enjoy their stay here!"

They aim to highlight the best camping, glamping and touring sites across the UK.
