A Macclesfield business has returned to the town, just a short walk from the town centre.

Chrome Motors has returned to its hometown of Macclesfield,

The family-owned used car specialists will continue to operate nationally from its new premises in The Old Stables, located on the corner of Brook Street and the A523 Silk Road.

The unit was previously occupied by Brosters - Cheshire Time, who moved to Chestergate earlier this year.

Returning to Macclesfield is especially meaningful for husband-and-wife team Danny and Natalie Towns, who have lived, raised their children, and built their business in the local community.

Originally based on Beech Lane, opposite Tytherington High School, before relocating to Woodford, Stockport, the Towns family is 'excited' to come back to Macclesfield.

"Macclesfield has always been home to us," says Danny Towns, founder, and director of Chrome Motors.

"This is where we started Chrome, where we've raised our family, supported local clubs and teams, and where we feel we belong.

"Our clients span the UK, and occasionally Europe, but there's something incredibly special about serving the community you're a part of."

With over 25 years of experience in the automotive industry, Danny is the driving force behind Chrome Motors. Passionate about providing high-quality used cars at competitive prices, he has built Chrome on the foundation of an exceptional customer experience.

His expertise and commitment to the automotive industry have led him to collaborate with industry leaders like MotoNovo and AutoTrader, where he engages in discussions on tackling everyday challenges faced by dealers.

Chrome Motors has earned prestigious awards for customer service from both AutoTrader and CarGurus for seven consecutive years, as well as accolades from Car Dealer Reviews placing them among the top 40 dealers in the UK and securing the No. 1 spot in Cheshire and Macclesfield out of 9,500 reviewed dealers.

Calls are often answered by Danny or Natalie themselves, backed by a dedicated team of delivery drivers.

Outside of their roles at Chrome, Danny and Natalie are active members of the community, enjoying cycling, countryside walks with their dog, and supporting local football.

You can find more about the business, and its contact details, on their website or Facebook page.

New openings are coming thick and fast in Macclesfield, Chrome joining recent additions to the town such as Posh Brats and Bollington Brewing Company Taproom.
