Macclesfield's first ska gig of the year will be held this weekend, at the prolific concert-hosting Nags Head pub.
A one-day only Punk and Ska festival will be held this Saturday July 7, celebrating the two genres and great local talent.
The raucous celebration of the two genres starts at 1pm, and ends at midnight when the Macclesfield pub will also close.
It costs just £10 for entry into the pub, and in return you will get an all-day festival with ten great bands from the north west.
Manchester-based headliners Special Brew are the last band on at 10pm, who take their name from ska legend Bad Manners.
While the date was hoped to have been without masks, the extension of the government's original June deadline of lifting COVID-19 restrictions mean some rules still apply.
Despite this, the power of music has prevailed and the event organisers have worked hard to safely assure the continuation of the event.
Please note: you must wear a mask if you are not sat at a table.
The Nags Head pub is located 60 Waters Green, Macclesfield SK11 6JT.
You can find more about the event and ticketing information here.
