A family's dream of running their own restaurant is about to come true.
BKK Thai Takeaway is just weeks away from opening its doors on Market Place, taking over the unit recently vacated by The Laab.
A family affair, Siri Phracharoen is joined by his parents for this exciting new venture.
The 32-year-old said: "The goal for this shop is to take our customers on a little escape to Bangkok, Thailand, through our food.
"We hope the flavours allow them to relax after a long, tiring day or give them a moment of happiness during a stressful work break.
"We believe that good food brings good feelings, and that those feelings can make someone's day just a little bit better."

Food and hospitality have always been a big part of the family's life.
Prior to running her own street food stall in Thailand, Siri's mother worked in a household that prepared and delivered food to the Thai royal family.
His father, meanwhile, has worked in several hotel kitchens and food court.
While working at the Impact Arena near Bangkok, he was discovered by a restaurant owner who sponsored his visa to come and work in the UK.
Siri added: "As a family, hospitality is all we've ever really known.
"I knew how talented they were as chefs, but it felt like fate never allowed us to have a place of our own.
"Every opportunity we looked at seemed to fall through for one reason or another.
"Then we found 6A Market Place. It genuinely felt like the sky finally opened and allowed us to breathe. That was the moment we knew we had to try."

Asked what it was that drew them to Macclesfield, Crewe resident Siri added: "Macclesfield feels like a very lovely town, and by that I mean the people, the community, and the overall atmosphere.
"I'll be honest and say that I'm still getting to know the town, but I truly hope our customers will welcome us and help introduce us to Macclesfield as we grow together."
BKK Thai Takeaway is expected to open in early February.
Once up and running, Siri says customers can expect a relaxed, friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
The menu, meanwhile, will boast a wide variety of dishes.
Siri said: "We honestly can't put into words how excited we are.
"We're excited to create good food for our customers, and just as excited to see how they feel about it.
"Customer happiness is our happiness.
"Everyone has a different palate, but we will always do our very best to serve food that satisfies and comforts."
