Macclesfield's new Farmfoods store will open by the end of the week.

The last big brand to move into the Barracks Mill Retail Park will open their doors on Friday.

They will open at 8am on Friday April 14.

It is not known if any famous face will formally open the frozen food store.

From there, it will be open seven days a week, 8am to 9pm from Monday to Saturdy. Sunday will see a reduced offering from 10am to 4pm.

This week's opening date is according to a Facebook advert by the firm, however, a glance at the shop today didn't give any indication of this date.

However, Macclesfield Nub News is seeking to verify this.

It is not known how many jobs have been created, or any more information about the store, as Farmfoods have declined and not responded to Macclesfield Nub News' requests for comment.

They will be open every day of the week.
