Final phase of garden centre redevelopment set to get underway

The final phase of a garden centre's redevelopment is set to get underway.
Cheshire East Council has greenlit the redevelopment of Spinks House at what was once the Flora Garden Centre.
Family-run property developer Hall & Co will now set about delivering a further two properties at its 14-home Curtis Farm residential scheme off Chelford Road in Henbury.
Jamie Hall, development director at Hall & Co Property, said: "It's fantastic to see our vision becoming reality at Curtis Farm – work is progressing well on site and 50% is already reserved, which is testament to the quality of the scheme and its unique amenities.
"Curtis Farm has been an opportunity for us to create something genuinely special for Henbury.
"Each home combines contemporary design with the character and calm of the Cheshire countryside and all of the features have been carefully considered, from boot rooms and bike storage to shared spaces that encourage connection with nature and neighbours."

Designed by Ollier Smurthwaite Architects, work began on-site at Curtis Farm in January 2025.
The project is expected to conclude in August 2026, delivering a selection of one, three, four and five bedroom homes.
These homes come with boot rooms and built-in bike storage, along with garden and log stores and shared food growing, orchards and wildflower meadows.
Curtis Farm is also home to Breath Vitality, a new dedicated luxury wellness centre.
Since opening in January, Breath Vitality has welcomed the likes of world superbike champion Carl Fogarty and actor Jimmi Harkishin, of Coronation Street fame.
