Macclesfield's new Lebanese restaurant is ready to open.

More than a year after signs first went up, Janna in Broken Cross is set to welcome its first customers.

Swinging open its doors at 4pm on Thursday, June 11, Janna looks to build on the success of sister restaurant Remal, in Prestwich.

Owner Zak Malki said: "We are beyond excited to finally open our doors in Macclesfield!

"Our beautifully designed restaurant offers a unique twist on traditional Lebanese decor, transporting you abroad without leaving Macclesfield."

Zak continued: "For the past eight years, our sister restaurant, Remal in Prestwich, has drawn a devoted following from all over Greater Manchester, with a vast, varied menu—from vegan and vegetarian to grilled meats, plus homemade bread and pastries.

"With 17 years of culinary experience, Zach and Mo have crafted a menu of authentic flavors.
