Five Macclesfield organisations celebrating major anniversaries in 2023
2023 is almost upon us, so we thought we'd look ahead and see which Macclesfield businesses or establishments that are celebrating big birthdays in the year to come.

10 Years - Hogbens Chartered Surveyors
First up in terms of the shortest anniversary and indeed the first to celebrate this year is Hogbens Chartered Surveyors.
Formed in January 2013 by Bollington resident James Hogben, this regulated chartered property surveyors have an office on Chestergate.

20 Years - Focus IT Services
Offering IT solutions for the past 20 years, Focus was started by Macclesfield residents and serves clients across the country.
They were once located on Athey Street, but moved to Bridge Street in 2022.

25 Years - Storm Brewing Company
Waterside business Storm Brewing was founded by Hugh Thompson in 1998. The Macclesfield resident stepped down from the brewers in 2018, and it is now overseen by owners from Stockport and Macclesfield.
You can find their beers Macclesfield venues from The Snow Goose to G&T Macclesfield, and events such as Bollington or Macclesfield Beer Festival.
Popular drinks include Isobar IPA and Bosley Cloud.

40 Years - Metro Rod Drainage
Tytherington Business Park drainage service Metro Rod Drainage were formed in 1983.
Now a national business with sites across the country (but their HQ in Macc), the Springwood Close company hope to be dealing with blocked drains for the next 40 years.
They offer 24 hour support, seven days a week.
150 Years - St. John the Evangelist Church
Wilwick Lane place of worship St John the Evangelist Church started life as a chapel in 1873.
The community church will turn 150 in the new year.
