GO Outdoors on Mill Street set to close for good

An outdoor retailer on Macclesfield's high street is closing down.
GO Outdoors on Mill Street is set to shut for good.
Signs announcing the impending closure and an 'everything must go' sale appeared on Wednesday, August 19.
It is understood the branch will close its doors on January 27, 2027.
An anonymous source has told Nub News that the decision to close follows an increase in rent.
This comes just months after the closure of neighbouring JD Sports, with both of the brands owned by the same parent company, JD Group.
