Jail time for Macclesfield man who made threats to kill

A Macclesfield man who threatened to kill someone is now behind bars.
Terence Naden has been sentenced to 10 months in prison after pleading guilty to a string of four offences.
Between September 1, 2024 and February 24 this year, the 41-year-old harassed a woman from Macclesfield.
The court records state that on each occasion Naden would make a 'number of threats' towards her.
Then, between February 20 and 24 this year, he threatened to kill a man in Macclesfield.
Also during this period, on February 21, Naden caused £4,000 worth of damage to a vehicle belonging to another man.
On top of this, Naden admitted to driving whilst disqualified after being caught driving a Ford Focus along Turf Lane in Macclesfield on February 24.
Naden, of Grange Road in Macclesfield, appeared at Chester Crown Court on Wednesday, April 2.
Judge Simon Berkson sentenced him to a total of 10 months in jail.
A five-year restraining order was also made, prohibiting Naden from having any contact whatsoever with the man whose car he damaged.
Furthermore, Naden's driving disqualification has been extended.
