26-year-old Lauren Wilson, of no fixed address but based in Macclesfield, was given the order today.

A woman has been banned from Macclesfield town centre after being ordered to adhere to a Criminal Behaviour Order for the next three years.

Lauren Wilson, of no fixed address but of Macclesfield, was handed the order at Crewe Magistrates' Court on Wednesday 19 April.

The 26-year-old is now forbidden from entering Macclesfield town centre as outlined in the attached map. She also must not enter the following shops; Tesco Superstore on Hibel Road, the Co-op on Hurdsfield Road or McColls on Hurdsfield Green.

Police officers of Macclesfield Police Station, on Brunswick Street, helped sow the seeds for today's ruling.

Here's where she can't go until spring 2026.

The CBO, which was applied for by Macclesfield South Beat Team, prohibits Wilson from entering Macclesfield town centre unless for any pre-arranged appointments.

If Wilson fails to follow the order, she could be fined or returned to prison.

Sergeant Matt Bassirat said: "This is a great result for Macclesfield as we have hindered another prolific offender from continuing to bring misery to residents and businesses in the town.

"The time spent by officers dealing with such prolific offenders takes officers away from those who need our service most.

"I'd like to thank the courts for issuing this order and hope that this shows our residents that we will continue to use all the powers available to us to ensure that we make Macclesfield even safer.

"Wilson will be under the CBO until 19 April 2026 and if she fails to comply with any of the conditions, she could be imprisoned for up to five years."

Anyone who encounters Wilson breaching any of the above restrictions is urged to contact Cheshire Police at this link or call 101, to report it.
