Macclesfield carpark to temporarily close for the second time this year

A Macclesfield carpark is to temporarily shut for the second time in two months.

The Jordangate multi-storey carpark will be briefly shut later this month.

In a statement, Cheshire East Council, who own the site, said: "Jordangate Car Park in Macclesfield will be closed for three days from Tuesday 18 to Thursday 20 June while electrical works are completed to improve the user experience."

"Appropriate signage is in place to advise people accordingly.

"For a full list of alternative parking options in Macclesfield to use during the three-day closure, please check this page on our website: Car Parks in Macclesfield Cheshire (cheshireeast.gov.uk)."

The site, of 36 Jordangate, was also shut temporarily in various sates over a period of five days last month.
