A patisserie and cake shop in Macclesfield have upped their coffee game, as they approach their sixth month anniversary.
Vic Campbell Cakes – The Patisserie opened in January this year, offering a selection of mouth-watering, sell-out sweet treats, but has now branched into a wider range of hot beverages as well.
The hot drink highlights include classic frothy coffee favourites like lattes and to cortados, to white, milk or dark chocolate mochas which are also on the menu.
Owner Victoria (Vic) Campbell and her three staff are delighted to serve hot beverages alongside their homemade cakes and sweet delicacies.
"So, we do fresh coffee and Parisian hot chocolate, which is made with melted chocolate flakes for a truly indulgent experience," said Vic.
"We do a full range of organic teas as well with decaf options available.
"The flat white and the dark chocolate mocha are our best sellers here."
The establishment has seen heaps of success since opening and does not want to lose this momentum going into summer, with many big plans in stall.
"We have been very busy; business has been great," added the Macclesfield resident of six years.
"We sell out most days and especially on a Saturday.
"In the future, I would like to offer a range of sandwiches with vegan and gluten free options available."
"I have just started my luxury afternoon teas as well which are only available to eat in on a Saturday and must be booked.
"The luxury afternoon tea is a selection of sandwiches and savoury tarts.
"Along with scones and lemon drizzle cakes there is a selection of petit four versions of my best selling Pâtisserie.
Two years later, she is six months into her Chestergate coffee house and cakery, and an optimistic future.
The premises contains a characterful 16th century cellar, as well as outdoor seating on the street.
The business will also be returning for the Treacle Market between the hours of 10am and 3pm, but be warned you do have to get in there early to avoid your favourite bakes from running out.
In the last five months since the business opened, one thing that has definitely stood out for the team at the patisserie is the amazing community of Macclesfield.
"I love the community here in Macclesfield, the people around me and the other local businesses always make me feel really welcome definitely. They are all very supportive as well," concluded Vic.
"Our cellar is now available to book for private parties, so either meetings or baby showers or hen parties and that area will be completely closed off to the general public.
"I get many requests for private orders, and whilst I would love to fulfil these I currently need to focus my time on ensuring the display fridge is kept fully stocked.
"But thank you to everyone in Macclesfield for their support so far."
Make sure to head on down and try out the tasty treats all for yourself.
The Macclesfield eatery has a the best Food Hygiene rating possible, and is situated on 51 Chestergate.
