A new food offering has come to Park Green.
Macclesfield's RedWillow Brewery, of Park Green, have a new chef in their kitchen providing their food offering.
Aayan Ghani is behind Pit Stop at the Curry Den. He'll offer two menus across five days every week.
The opportunity came about, as Aayan previously had a pop-up food stall at RedWillow for the afterparty of this May's Party in the Pews Festival.
Diners were impressed, and now the healthy Indian cook is back to bring some spice to compliment RedWillow's flavourful beers.
"Our regular menu will be a crossover between English and Indian dishes. Pit Stop is a take on an infusion of burgers, pizzas with a Indian twist.
"We'll have things like chicken tikka chips, halloumi salad, chicken tikka salad, crispy chicken burger.
"When we say Indian we don't mean mind-blowing spice levels, but if some don't mind hot spice levels we have home made sauces that can do the job so we have all aspects covered."
And every Wednesday, there will be a special menu known as Thali Night.
Thali Night will see a choice of three curries served on a platter with rice, lettuce and sauce.
On this night, all curries are dairy and gluten free. And with more vegan and veggie options than not, everyone is catered for.
The food is served in stylish metallic trays, perfect for keeping your food hot inbetween your trips to the bar, should you need another locally-brewed beer.
Thali Night dishes include a fragrant aloo gobi, with farm fresh cauliflower, a boneless chicken tikka masala and tarka dhal with red lentils.
Before this new Macclesfield opportunity, Aayan had a café in Altrincham. And some of his regulars from Alty have already come to Macclesfield to experience RedWillow for the first time, and to of course enjoy Aayan's cooking.
As well as making the food, Aayan even takes the orders, and serves them himself. This is a role Aayan excels in, as a people person.
"I love people", he added.
"Interacting with them is a great way for me to express myself.
"We have teamed up with RedWillow to launch this theme for the people of Macclesfield and beyond.
"We are open from Wednesday 5pm, Thursday 5pm, and Friday-Sunday 12pm."
Service of his dishes normally stop at 8pm.
Already known for great beer, RedWillow is fast-becoming known as a place to champion independent food.
RedWillow will continue to offer their £9 pizza + pint offer on a Monday and Tuesday.
The previous chef - Jamie Savage of SAVAGES Mussels - only just left to start his own premises on Church Street.
And now the Macclesfield brewer will spearhead the success of another independent chef, with Aayan.
The curries will hope to pair perfectly with their monthly comedy evenings, and other upcoming events.
Upcoming things to look forward to at RedWillow includes Pottery at the Pub with fellow Macclesfield business The Clayrooms and their guest beer tap takeover Collabageddon on November 17.
In other news, RedWillow are currently hiring for bar staff.
