There will be one less empty shop in Macclesfield soon.

That is because, a vacant unit in the Grosvenor Centre has found a new tenant.

The unit opposite TIMPSON, is set to become Lil's Children's Clothing, according to signage outside.

The kids clothing shop has no opening date specified as of yet.

And unfortunately, we could not find any contact details for the business owner.

However, the Grosvenor Centre has been contacted for comment.

The unit, which was previously Cosy Wren, is located to the left of the recently reopened CLOUD gift shop.

The Grosvenor Centre is appearing to court small, independent businesses for their empty units. As evidenced by this week's opening of Posh Brats, also in the same shopping centre.

In recent years, Macclesfield has lost shops that sell kids clothing such as M&S and River Island.
