air for total of 27 hours, and is now thrilled with the new permanentopportunity she has received.
"I think it took a moment to sink in," she said.
"But I definitely jumped around and then had a little cry.
"I feel incredibly blessed to be given this opportunity to be able to
pursue my passion full time. I'm just so excited to get started. "I'm really excited about playing with the multiplatform element ofthe show and creating content on air that can be shared on our

KMFM's newest radio presenter moved to Macclesfield when she
was two years old. She lived herefor 14 years. Her parents, who still live in Prestbury, are said to be Numi's biggest fans.
Their reaction to the news was a special moment for Numi, who
now lives in London. "I sent them a picture of me with my thumbs up and the caption'who has two thumbs and just got a job in radio?'," she added.
"[It was] very cheesy."
"They were so happy for me. They have supported me every
step of the way and have always listened to my shows, evenwhen they've been at four in the morning!
"I'm very lucky to have their love and support behind me."
The new full-time job has not stopped Numi from completing
her PHD studies whatsoever, and first few months of 2022will be very busy indeed.
"I will still be doing the Kent Top 40 with Alex West
every Sunday and of course there's prep for every show soit ends up being an eight-hour working day.
"For the first few months I want to focus and put my all in
settling into the show and making it sound the best it can.I also will be spending the next few months finishing my PhD
corrections. "Additionally, I am very much looking forward to having a two-day weekend back as six days a week for the past eight
