A new Macclesfield pizzeria has announced a huge hiring drive, as they prepare to open this winter.

Wood Fire Smoke - which operate two sites in Wilmslow and Handforth - are launching on Chestergate in Macclesfield this year.

Offering authentic wood fired pizza to either enjoy in their cost restaurant or at home, Wood Fire Smoke aims to open in time for the Qatar World Cup.

While no specific date is confirmed, what is certain is that you can now apply to work at this small independent Cheshire pizza business.

In a statement, the Italian eatery said: "As we draw closer to opening the doors (fist pump) its time to recruit an incredible team of individuals to bring our Macc joint to life. 

"We're hiring in Front of House Management, Pizza and Prep Chefs and Kitchen Porters.

"We're also after Front of House staff in both full and part time roles.
