A Macclesfield school is eyeing up two new buildings.

Beech Hall School, near Tytherington has submitted a planning application to Cheshire East Council.

The Beech Hall Drive place of education wants to introduce two new buildings.

The application is for "Proposed demolition of existing lean-to music classroom and 2 no. Single storey structures ('ivy bank nursery'), and erection of small single storey extension for new replacement music room, and erection of single storey standalone building for replacement nursery, and associated landscaping works."

Both staff and pupil numbers would be increased by the plans, should they be improved.

Beech Hall School, which teaches toddlers to teens, currently has capacity for 250 pupils.

Residents have until April 10 to have their say.
