There will be a new pizza spot to dine at in Macclesfield.

And it is in a rather unique location.

Tommy's Bar and Pizza Ltd aims to open on 207 Buxton Road, Macclesfield, Cheshire SK10 1NB this year.

They have just applied to Cheshire East Council for a premises licence for the following clauses:

• The provision of recorded music 12.00 – 22.00 Sunday to Thursday 12.00 – 23.00 Friday and Saturday
• The sale and supply of alcohol 12.00 – 22.00 Sunday to Thursday 12.00 – 23.00 Friday and Saturday

The new business is the expansion of what was formerly known as Macclesfield street food business Happy Place Pizza.

Ran by Bollington resident Thomas Higgins (40), no opening date has been targeted as of yet.

Representations regarding the licence shall be made in writing to the below address in time for consideration on 7 February 2023.
