A BBC Radio 4 favourite is coming to Bollington.
Bollington Arts Centre will welcome writer John Osborne later this month with his show, 'There Will Be Tinsel'.
John will be known to many for his work on Radio 4, as well as being co-creator of the Sky 1 comedy drama, After Hours.
Anne Swinbank, a member of the arts centre's production team, said: "We're committed to bringing interesting entertainment and live music to this little gem of a venue - it really is worth a visit!"
John previously visited Bollington Arts Centre in 2012 with his show, 'John Peel's Shed'.
This production stemmed from winning a box of records in a competition on John Peel's Radio 1 show in 2002.
In 2010, he presented a show on Norwich's Future Radio where he played some of his favourite tracks from the collection.
The following year he turned this into a stage show for the 2011 Edinburgh Fringe Show, enjoying sell-out crowd and five-star reviews.
Then, in 2012, John completed a 60-date UK tour, including a performance in Bollington.

His latest show, There Will Be Tinsel, involves Christmas stories and music evoked by his collection of old Radio Times Christmas editions.
Anne added: "It is a great way to get into the Christmas spirit early before we all get sick of it!"
John will take to the stage at Bollington Arts Centre on Friday, November 28.
Tickets are priced at £12.50 and can be purchased via the centre's website now.
