A new fried chicken shop looks set to open in Macclesfield.

Signs for Crispy Chick have gone up at 103 Mill Street.

It signals a new chapter for the unit previously occupied by F&E Taylor, before operating as a string of different eateries.

This includes Ziani's Mediterranean Restaurant, Antonio's Cafe Bar and Bistro, Raj's Food To Go and more recently, Nemo'z Pizzeria.

Having been sat empty for a few years, it now looks set to open as Crispy Chick.

The brand's Instagram page says it will serve Angus beef burgers, boneless buttermilk chicken, fries, rice bowls and protein bowls.

"Fast service, big flavour," reads the accounts bio.

An opening date has not yet been announced.
