Mayor to cut the ribbon as 'one-stop shop' for doors and windows opens this weekend

Macclesfield's 'one-stop shop' for doors and windows enters an exciting new era this weekend.
Vufold Trade swing open the doors to their new showroom on Queens Avenue on Saturday (March 15).
The Mayor of Macclesfield, councillor Sandy Livingstone, will be in attendance to cut the ribbon, with the event also serving as a fundraiser for CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young).
Sales manager David Ross said: "This showroom has been a real labour of love, which is just one of the reasons why we're so excited for this spring grand opening event.
"Following months of significant investment, it's jam-packed with innovation and stunning door and window products, and will be a hub for everyone - trades, architects, installers, homeowners, and developers."

Spanning across three generations, Vufold is a family business that has been based on Queen's Avenue since 2008.
Having enjoyed lots of success nationally through their website, in 2021 Vufold decided to create a showroom in a bid to capture the local market.
Unfortunately, due to complications with electricity and contractors, the project was delayed but the showroom is now complete and ready to welcome both trade visitors and the general public.
Saturday's launch event, which runs from 10am to 2pm, will be a 'drop in' for guests to explore the new space, with refreshments available.
"We pride ourselves on offering a space for the highest quality windows and doors for our customers," added David.
"Ranging from external and internal bifolds, sliding doors, entrance doors, French doors, rooflights and roof glazing, room dividers, and casement and flush windows, our fantastic selection of products requires a fantastic space to showcase them.
"That's where our new showroom comes in.
"For those with questions, not to worry! Our wonderful team will be on hand to give guided tours of the facilities, and to answer any questions you may have."

They will also be raising money for CRY and offering a chance to win £500 off a new door.
Established in 1995, the charity supports young people diagnosed with potentially life-threatening cardiac conditions and offers bereavement support to families affected by Young Sudden Cardiac Death.
David said: "So, to anyone located near our Macclesfield home, or if you fancy a journey and a nice day out, join us!
"Find out more about our products and how we can help you make your dream projects into a reality!"
