Expedition Egypt

Head over to the Silk Museum this half term for Expedition Egypt.

There will be a host of free activities on offer, including the chance to play an ancient Egyptian board game and learn how to write your name in hieroglyphs.

Friday (29/05)

Bollington Well Dressing

Bollington's well dressings will be available to view until Friday, May 29.

This year's theme is 'Volunteering', with four wells to view across the town.

Saturday (30/05)

Metal at Mash

Sigils headline another night of metal music at Mash Guru on Saturday.

They will be joined on the stage by One With Us, an alt rock/grunge band from Leicester, and Made of Regret, a blackened instrumental post rock group from Manchester.

Starting at 8.30pm, tickets are just £5 and are available on the door.

Treacle Market

It's that time again - Treacle Market is back!

This month offers the perfect opportunity to find the perfect present ahead of Father's Day (June 21).

There will be more than 140 stalls to browse from 10am to 3.30pm, spread across Exchange Street, Mill Street, Castle Street, St Michael's Churchyard, The Butter Market, Market Place, Upper Market Place and Chestergate .
