Thursday – Poetry Pandemonium
Get a jumpstart on the weekend at Mash Guru.
Mark the Poet will be hosting a night of poetry with special guest Dominic Berry.
There will also be open mic opportunities who fancies giving it a go.

Saturday - Build a Bird Box
Fancy getting creative?
This Saturday, February 8, Macclesfield Repair Cafe are hosting a build your own bird box workshop.
Open to adults, teens and supervised children aged six and above, no prior experience is needed for this one-hour activity.
You can also bring along your broken belongings to the repair shop which will be taking place as usual.

Saturday - Cruises
Experts from Prestbury Travel will be visiting the Tytherington Club on Saturday, sharing their knowledge on ocean and river cruises.
There will be exclusive savings available, as well as prize draws.

Saturday - Quiz Night
Macclesfield RUFC are hosting a quiz night on Saturday.
It gets underway at 7pm, straight after the England v Rugby Men's Six Nations clash, which kicks off at 4.45pm.
Entry is £5 per person with money going towards the rugby club's 150th anniversary fund and used to improve the sporting facilities.

Saturday & Sunday - Poetry Weekend
Macclesfield Book Festival continues and this weekend is focused on all things poetry.
There will be multiple special guests in attendance as well as an open mic session.

Monday - SciBar
SciBar sees guest speakers invited to give talks on a range of topics while people enjoy food and drink at the Vale Inn in Bollington.
This month's speaker is Dr Robert Bolam, David, reader in aeronautical engineering at the University of Wrexham.
He will be talking about his research into fast fans and whether they can enable fuel-free flight.
The talk is free to attend and starts at 6.30pm.

Tuesday - Death Cafe
Laura Doherty is hosting a death cafe on Tuesday, February 11 - an open, supportive space to talk about death, share thoughts, and break the taboo around this natural part of life.
Taking place at Rootstock in Bollington, the event is free to attend.
However, due to limited space anyone interested in attending is asked to register.
