Wincle Beer Festival

The country's most picturesque beer festival gets underway on Friday.
This year's event will feature 35 beers and ciders as well as a selection of wines, prosecco and Forest Gin.
Music comes from the likes of Sac n Craic, Bollington Brass Band, North West Rock Choir, Squeezy Pete and Smugglin' Budgies.
When it comes to food, vendors confirmed so far include Cheddleton Oatcakes, Wood Fire Smoke, Foxy Food, Nassi Lemak and Kyle's Fish & Chips.

Saturday (05/07)
MaccPride

Head to Market Place on Saturday for a celebration of diversity and equality.
The Parade will set off from Christ Church at 11am with a new, slightly longer, route via Catherine Street and Chestergate.
There will be live entertainment on the MaccPride stage from midday, starting with Stella Black and GemiTy.
There will also be charity stalls, kids games, workshops and free D&G buses throughout the day.

Langley Village Fete

Langley playing fields will play host to a fete from 12.30pm on Sunday.
There will be stalls, a tombola, coconut shy, the Langley duck races down the river and the Fell Race up Teggs Nose.
For the kids there are races, hook a duck, glitter tattoos, face painting, bouncy castle, football games and ice creams.
The fete also hosts one of the best dog shows in the area as well as live music from Teggs Nose Pickas and Andy Hofton.

SIX Teen Edition

BE Performing Arts are bringing SIX: Teen Edition to MADS Theatre.
An all-female cast of young performers will take on the roles of Henry VIII's famous wives for a 'high-octane pop concert-style musical'
It runs from Monday (July 7) to Wednesday (July 9), with shows starting at 7.30pm each night.
