Businesses are being invited to take part in an upcoming event.

Macclesfield College is calling on local firms to get involved in this year's freshers fair on Wednesday, September 17.

The event will welcome hundreds of students at the start of the new academic year and the college is seeking businesses who can provide samples or discounts to help students settle in.

From vouchers and product tasters to fun branded giveaways, stallholders will have the opportunity to promote their business in a friendly, vibrant atmosphere.

"We want our freshers fair to be a fun and welcoming event that helps our students feel part of both the college and the wider community," said Seb Catania, director of student services.

"It's a fantastic chance for local businesses to introduce themselves to young people while showing their support."

The college is specifically seeking businesses who can provide giveaways or offers, rather than sales stalls.

Anyone interested in getting involved should contact the enrichment team by emailing [email protected].
