Vintage clothing store announces impending closure one year after opening

A vintage clothing store is set to close.
Kit on Chestergate has announced it will shut its doors for the final time on Sunday, August 31.
It comes just a year after opening, with owner Georgia Taylor-Wheeler explaining she no longer has the time to keep the unit running.
A post on the shop's Instagram read: "After a wonderful year, we've made the tough decision to close the doors to our little vintage shop on Chestergate this Sunday.
"We have loved being part of the evolving Macclesfield community and wish we could stick around a little longer but unfortunately, we can no longer dedicate the time (or the love) the shop needs in order to thrive.
"Thank you to everyone who has visited us over the past year, we've met so many amazing people and we couldn't have done it without your continuous support!"

This weekend will be the last opportunity to pay Kit a visit in-person.
It will will open from 10.30am to 4.30pm on Saturday and from 11am to 3pm on Sunday.
The Instagram post adds: "This isn't goodbye - we're going back to our roots so you'll still be able to shop with us online through Depop, Vinted and eBay!
"We'll also be popping up at some local markets and car boots so watch this space for updates."
