Salvatore's is the new restaurant brought to Macclesfield by the same team behind Rosanero.

You loved our chat with the Macclesfield legend Chef Sal Di Maio so much, that it takes the bronze spot on this list as our third most read story of the year so far.

Two: Tytherington woman stars in new Channel 4 TV series

Taking the runner-up slot as the second most read piece so far in 2024, is this feelgood story of a local woman featuring on the telly.

Becky Hall (32) from Tytherington, has just finished starring in the Channel 4 docuseries, Secret Life of the Safari Park.

One: The Bridge in Prestbury Goes Up for Sale

There was great surprise when Flat Cap Hotels went bust earlier this year.
